SENA PARK
(b. 1977, Seoul, Korea)

Born in Seoul, Korea, Sena Park lives and works in New Zealand. Her practice is a ‘conversation’ created by 2 dimensional drawings and 3 dimensional objects as a way of interacting with others. By presenting a wide range of techniques, materials and medium, Park attempts to initiate a conversation across diverse perspectives and subject matter. The artwork evolves from itself, as brush-strokes and gestures interact, negotiating the construction of the work, inducing interaction with each other.
