lare Gemima is a former Auckland based practitioner who now works and resides in New York City.

Negotiating methodologies that consider dimensionality and design, while playing with online and offline conflicts, she is intrigued by how the internet and overt screen use can condition pivotal moments for us in real life. Sound, moving image and large scale installation are used as tools to immerse and confront viewers by creating existential and observational visual experiments both in private and public spaces.
Recent Projects include: The Other Art Fair, Brooklyn, USA (2019); Slain, Mayonez Artist Run Space, Auckland, NZ (2018); HYFR at ZEUS, Zeus Gallery, Tauranga, NZ (2017); SICK Group Show, Yes Collective, Auckland, NZ (2015)
